Prison Chronicles
I was a correctional vocational teacher for over 25 years in a state run correctional facility. Prison Chronicles are my experiences both good and bad of the years I spent teaching there. I like to use music, and pictures on my blog which sets the mood, tone and the way I am feeling at the time of my story’s creation. I did not write or produce this music or pictures and take absolutely no credit for them. The artists that created it are noted in the post. The scripture cited is from the Judeo- Christian Bible. The biblical citing’s I use are for the tumultuous times we find ourselves in, the stress I experienced in my years of teaching in a prison, in life, and finally, my belief systems’ way of keeping it all in perspective. “Even this shall pass.” I hope you find my stories interesting, and read them as often as I can write them. It is my way of decompressing.

I began writing Prison Chronicles in December 2020 in the mist of the Covid 19 pandemic. I have written over 100 vignettes about my life experiences both teaching and nonteaching. I believe it is time for me to do something different with this blog, and I hope my readers will enjoy what I have planned in 2025. I began thinking about God at a fairly young age, and was raised Roman Catholic. I would experience God’s love and grace throughout my life and wanted to write about those experiences. My journey, how I became a teacher in prison, and how God became my anchor, are the experiences I’ll write about. Welcome to My Life Journey. All glory and power is His forever and ever. Amen. Lord Jesus Christ!

I have been on the Bible bus for over 40 years and have enjoyed the teaching of J. Vernon McGee. He is with the Lord now but his teaching is down to earth and timely. The Second, John F. MacArthur and his Grace To You Ministries is also very timely as well. He also most recently passed away and is now with our Lord. His church is still very active in making sure the message of our Lord Jesus Christ is carried all over the world. These are excellent programs, and I believe you will enjoy them should you choose to follow them. The timing couldn’t be better.
